  • Not unless you want it to be. Your piece can easily be removed at the jump ring.

  • Nope! The welding process is quick + painless. You may see a tiny flash, but you won’t feel it. Cute jewelry without the suffering. We love to see it.

  • It depends on the metal, your lifestyle, and how you care for your piece.

  • It’s quick! Your exact appointment time can depend on how many pieces you’re getting and, naturally, how long you spend deciding between all the cute options.

  • Yes, yes, yes + yes! Permanent jewelry is designed to be worn through everyday life.

  • Generally, no. Permanent jewelry is high quality and meant to last. However, some metals can naturally oxidize or change color over time, especially with exposure to lotions, perfumes, chemicals, chlorine and body oils. Proper care can help extend the life and shine of your piece.

  • Permanent jewelry is intentionally designed with a small connection point that can break if enough force is applied. If your piece breaks, bring it back to us and we’ll determine whether it can be rewelded.

  • No dramatic breakup necessary! Simply cut the small jump ring with scissors or nail clippers and save your chain if you’d like to have it rewelded later.

  • Permanent jewelry may not be the best option for everyone. Definitely let us know about any allergies or sensitivities you have and we can see if we have a chain that could work for you.

  • Generally, jewelry may need to be removed before certain medical procedures or surgeries. If you have an upcoming procedure, check with your healthcare provider first. When in doubt, just wait!

  • Yes, but since swelling can occur, especially with bracelets and other pieces, choose a comfortable fit with a little extra room. For medical or pregnancy-specific concerns, consult your healthcare provider.

  • Always tell your medical provider that you’re wearing permanent jewelry. Depending on the jewelry’s metal composition and the facility’s policy, you may be asked to remove it.

  • Yes, permanent jewelry generally doesn’t cause an issue with airport security.
